How many Advisors should a Squad have?

How many Advisors should a Squad have?

Having an adequate number of Advisors is essential for the program's sustainability and effectiveness. A higher number of Advisors not only enhances the program's sustainability but also makes it more manageable for the Advisors involved. Hope Squad requires a minimum of 2 advisors per squad, but we have Squads with as low as 2 Advisors and some as many as 10 Advisors.

The school administration and lead Hope Squad Advisor should determine the number of Advisors based on the following:

  • Size of the school

  • Possible size of the Hope Squad

  • Grade levels

  • Advisor availability
