What if one or more parents/guardians can’t attend the Parent Meeting?

If one or more parents could not attend the meeting, there are many ways you can handle this problem. The most important piece is that a conversation does occur with the parents as no one is allowed to serve on a Hope Squad without parent permission. 


Here are a few alternative ways that you can have that conversation with parents:

  • Schedule a Zoom meeting with those who couldn’t attend 

  • Email and ask to set up a one-on-one Zoom meeting 

  • Call and explain the program over the phone 

  • Record yourself giving the presentation and send it to them via email
