What resources are available for parents to learn?

Hope Squad provides several resources for parents and families to learn together.
  1. The Wellness Today for Parents newsletters. These newsletters provide practical information on a variety of topics for parents, guardians, and families. They are accessible to all advisors through the Hope Squad Advisor Portal under "Family Engagement” in the Community Engagement Tab.
  2. In the Family Engagement section, there are also "Family-focused lessons" that you can select. These lesson are offered in both Spanish and English. Advisors are encouraged to share them with parents and the school community. 
  3. A Parent Manual is included in each year's lesson landing page. The Parent Manual provides many resources for parents to gain a better understanding of Hope Squad and how to teach their children fundamental principles of hope, warning signs, kindness, etc.
