Can Parents be involved in Hope Squad?
Yes! Parent involvement is encouraged and is a great addition to any Squad!
Check below for some guides on how to handle parent involvement:
We encourage you to check with administration regarding the level of parental involvement they are comfortable with that.
- Parents can help with supporting activities, providing needed materials, or support in helping plan an activity (cutting out things, making copies, etc...) Parents can also help manage activities.
- Parents and PTA involvement can help with funding the cost of the Squad, costs of materials and activities, or even buying T-shirts and other swag items for the Squad.
- Parents can attend lessons, but may not teach them as only trained Advisors are permitted to teach the content.
