What is Advisor Gatekeeper Training? 

Hope Squad used to require each school district to have 1 QPR certified trainer. We have changed that, so you don't have to have a QPR certified trainer and instead every advisor receives some kind of gatekeeping training either through QPR or Living Works. That gatekeeping training gives every advisor a foundation on how to recognize the signs of suicide, how to ask direct questions about suicide, and know how to refer someone in crisis to the proper resources.


Once you have completed your Gatekeeper Training, you will upload the Certificate of Completion into the Advisor Portal. Please reference below to answer additional questions:
