Where do I find Advisor Gatekeeper Training?

Hope Squad requires every Advisor to receive a suicide gatekeeping training either through QPR or LivingWorks. That gatekeeper training gives every advisor a foundation on how to recognize the signs of suicide, how to ask direct questions about if someone is thinking about suicide, and how to refer someone in crisis to the proper resources.

The easiest way to find where to sign up for training is to navigate to the Leader Portal. Once in the portal, select "Getting Started" from the "Advisors" Dropdown menu at the top of the page. Once you're in Getting Started, click the expansion arrow next to Step 1. In that section you will find links to the "QPR Gatekeeper" training and the "LivingWorks Start" Gatekeeper Training. The trainings cost $30 and $40 respectively. Either training is accepted by Hope Squad to meet the requirement.

After you have finished your Gatekeeper Training, make sure to save your certificate of completion. Come back to the portal and upload that certificate.

We accept expired gatekeeper training certificates, so if you have ever taken any level of training through QPR or LivingWorks, simply upload your certificate or email it to support@hopesquad.com
