What are a Hope Squad Advisor's responsibilities?

Advisor responsibilities include:
  • Organizing and running a Hope Squad with fidelity

  • Presenting the program to the faculty/staff

  • Organizing nominations, selecting Squad Members, and obtaining parent permission

  • Teaching the Hope Squad curriculum

  • Maintaining contact with Squad Members and monitoring their self-care needs

  • Administering surveys and collecting data. Ensuring the completion of the Mental Health Referral Form and Member pre- and post-surveys

  • Supervising Hope Squad activities
